I love that trail. It's absolutely gorgeous. Plus, it's named after my home state! Nice photos of it.

Thanks! I should have mentioned that there are more pics in my San Francisco gallery. That stretch of the Coast Trail is truly a spectacular--even holy--place. As you might be able to tell from the photos, my favorite spot is at the southern end, overlooking Tennessee Valley beach. I hadn't hiked that stretch in a while, and it was a joy--and a lot of work. I'm still feeling it. I'd also never been all the way down to Pirate's Cove, between Muir Beach and Tennessee Valley. There isn't really a trail down to the cove--more like a chute--but it's well worth the effort.
