Great dialogue in your comments, Rick. I just added that I think Seth's post resonated with so many people because it can be interpreted in a number of ways: Keeping our promises to ourselves (accomplishing our personal goals), keeping our promises to others (fulfilling our explicit agreements), and living up to the promises inherent in our "brands," personal and otherwise (fulfilling our implicit agreements.)
