Thanks, Bret--it's certainly mutual. The lists above are generated by my Google Reader subscriptions, which will stay much more current than the old blogroll (which was often out-of-date because it was powered by Bloglines, a tool I used only for that purpose.) I wanted to keep a public record of the writers I follow, and hopefully this list will accomplish this task.
