Kevin Aylward of Wizbang has a Standalone Trackback Pinger to allow people whose blogs don't support Trackback to create their own and send a Trackback to any blog that will accept them. I'm a TypePad loyalist for many reasons, including their support for Trackback, but it's nice to see tools like this that help extend the standard to other platforms that will (hopefully) get the message eventually.

Haloscan also offers great trackback and comment administering tools that get overlayed right on top of your blog's native software. It's very easy to use, and lets you keep track of all the back and forth over a long period of time.
It's free for an account with a limited archive and they only ask $12 per year to cover the costs of a premium account. I highly recomend it.
Thanks for the tip, Marshall, and for your post on Adam Weinroth's interview with Shirky and Lebkowsky. Great stuff!
